Closing The Loop: Merging Online And Offline Marketing

You probably have a Facebook page for your business if you are a restaurant or an established retail business. How do you promote your page? How do you reach out to the same people online who are already coming to your physical store?

Most businesses rely on their customers (or prospects) to find them online and like their Facebook page or follow them on Twitter. But why not actively close this loop? Let’s look at examples of some businesses in Pune who are doing this.

I like what Mad Over Donuts is doing. By promoting the Fan of the Week, they are connecting their online and offline fans, instead of just promoting the online profile in the offline space.

Feedback forms are probably the most underutilized tools in restaurants. I like that The Ship is trying to make a little better use of it. Would have been even better if they had included an actual url or even better, a QR code.

The best value of social media and other online channels can be realized only when you merge your online and offline worlds. We have seen this in action with a couple clients we worked with, and we had also talked about how NH7 does it really well.
