With the five links below, you can learn about blogging, websites, advertising on social media, motivation, and sales. Let’s start!
Hubspot tells you how you (yes, you) can be a business blogger.
Copyblogger tells you how to set up a WordPress website in fifteen minutes. (Though really, if you’re new to this, I think it will take you at least half an hour. BlueGlass has a comprehensive guide to social media advertising analytics from Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. If you’re advertising on these sites — or considering it — check this out!
Lifehacker recommends keeping a “done list” to keep yourself feeling motivated. I’ve done this (in a different format) for the past couple of years, and yes, it works both to keep me motivated and to urge me on if I’m not being as productive as I should. The tough part for me is remembering to write down what I’m doing as soon as I’m done with it, and that’s the part I’ve been struggling with more the last few weeks. If you do this, let me know how it works for you!

Speaking of parties… it’s Friday night! Have a fun weekend and come back next week for more ways to improve your marketing!
